The Department of Emergency Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is actively recruiting community-focused physicians to join our thriving clinical practice across multiple locations in Southeast Wisconsin. We are currently seeking board-eligible or board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians to join our team in a variety of settings, including clinical academic practice, VA practice, and community-based hospital locations. We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff, united by a strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and service.

Position and Department Highlights:
- We invite you to become part of a dynamic group of clinician educators driving a growing academic emergency medicine practice. Our department proudly hosts one of the oldest, continuously accredited Emergency Medicine residency programs in the United States.
- Our Emergency Department team is nationally recognized for expertise across a broad spectrum of academic disciplines, including EMS and Disaster Medicine, Toxicology, Injury Prevention and Control, Cardiac Resuscitation, Global Health, Ultrasound, Medical Education, Emergency Department Process Improvement
- We are seeking candidates who bring strong clinical skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, enthusiasm for academic medicine, a commitment to MCW’s academic missions
- Faculty practice in a collaborative, well-supported environment alongside experienced APPs, emergency medicine nurses, EMS professionals, and responsive consulting services. Our Emergency Department offers 24/7 access to radiology and laboratory services to support high-quality care.

We provide exceptional emergency care at a variety of sites, including:
- Froedtert Hospital ED – Level 1 Adult Trauma Center
- Children’s Wisconsin ED – Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center
- Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center ED
- Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital ED
- Froedtert West Bend Hospital ED
- Froedtert Community Hospitals in New Berlin, Pewaukee, Oak Creek, and Mequon
