Looking to build your healthcare skills in a one-of-a-kind summer setting? Girl Scouts San Diego is seeking Healthcare Assistants to support camper and staff wellness as part of our summer camp health team.

What You’ll Do
- Camper & Staff Care:
- Assess and respond to illnesses and injuries so campers can safely enjoy outdoor activities.
- Provide timely, compassionate care and determine next steps in collaboration with the healthcare supervisor.
- Health Center Operations & Teamwork:
- Support daily operations of the Health Center alongside the Healthcare Team.
- Collaborate with camp staff to manage medical needs and activity accommodations.
- Documentation & Follow-Up:
- Conduct routine camper health checks.
- Maintain accurate health records and process medical forms.
- Commitment to Camp Life:
- Live and work onsite from June 8 - July 25, 2026.
Requirements
What You Bring
- Age 21+ by June 8, 2026
- California-licensed PA, RN, NP, EMT, Paramedic, or Military Medic (or currently enrolled in a certification program)
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- Confidence in providing care for youth and adults in emergent and non-emergent situations.
- Experience working with youth; overnight camp experience is a plus.
- Comfortable living and working in a camp environment with variable weather and communal living.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
Employment Dates & Compensation
- Dates: June 8 - July 25, 2026
- Pay: $143 - $148 per day (includes meals and lodging)
