Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Minnesota Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-time primary care physician to join our team as a Statewide Medical Director. This position is based out of our Minnesota Regional Office located in Roseville, Minnesota.
The Statewide Medical Director provides the comprehensive medical, clinical, and utilization management direction needed to meet the service delivery requirements of a specific contract in collaboration with the Vice President of Operations (VPO). The Statewide Medical Director mentors, clinically supervises, and evaluates the team-delivered medical services for the patients at all facilities of the contract and promotes the culture of quality medical care using evidence-based standards of care. This professional serves as the contract's clinical expert, provider resource, clinical and medical management leader, and clinical outcomes driver while representing correctional healthcare to the client and the contract's providers.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Board certified in IM, FM or EM
- Active, unrestricted MN medical license or ability to obtain
- Active, unrestricted DEA
- Minimum of 1-2 years clinical experience
- Correctional healthcare experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to pass background screening and credentialing
Available Shift:
- Monday-Friday
- Day Shift
- No nights, holidays or weekends
