This position provides confined space and high-angle rope rescue coverage at industrial worksites. Duties include maintaining readiness for immediate rescue response, performing technical rescues when required, inspecting and maintaining rescue equipment, providing emergency medical response, assisting with rescue planning, and identifying hazards and mitigation measures. Personnel operate under the direction of Roco Crew Chiefs and site leadership.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications include completion of the Roco Rescue Fast-Track Confined Space Technician course (FT70) with passing written and practical exams, current EMR, EMT, or higher medical certification, current BLS or CPR certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of first responder experience or military service.
