Company Overview
Carnow, Conibear & Assoc., Ltd., a woman-owned business, was established on June 19, 1975 by two renowned physicians, Dr. Shirley A. Conibear and Dr. Bertram W. Carnow, both board-certified in occupational medicine. Today, Carnow Conibear addresses a variety of safety, health, and environmental issues, implements programs, and solves problems for a variety of organizations. These organizations include manufacturing and industrial firms, financial and health care institutions, insurance companies, architectural and engineering firms, developers, building owners, real estate companies, attorneys, and government agencies. The services we provide include Asbestos and Lead Services, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Construction Management.
Carnow Conibear’s staff includes Illinois Department of Health-licensed Asbestos and Lead Professionals, Professional Engineers, Environmental Engineers, Professional Geologists, Certified Industrial Hygienists, Industrial Hygienists, Safety and Regulatory Specialists, and Board-Certified occupational physicians.

The following outlines current benefits available to full-time employees. All benefits are subject to modification, deletion, or termination at any time.
Benefits include medical, dental, and life insurance, and tuition reimbursement of up to $500.00. A contributory 401k plan is available to each employee, as well as a one percent (1%) company 401k match, together with a commuter transit benefit and cafeteria 125 plan benefit.
We currently provide our employees with 3 personal days, 5 sick days, 7 paid holidays, and 10 vacation days per year.
