Middleton EMS operates two identically equipped 2019 Horton Type I ambulances and responds from our new station located at 2020 Parmenter Street in Middleton, WI.
Middleton EMS provides a wide-range of pre-hospital services including advanced life support, basic life support, community education courses and more!
Company History
Historically Middleton EMS was an organization that was staffed totally by volunteers. In response to continually growing demands for EMS services and an ever decreasing number of available volunteers, the City of Middleton elected to hire full-time professional employees in order to adequately staff its daily EMS operations and meet the future emergency medical needs of the community. On July 17, 2001, Middleton EMS began operating with 6 full-time career paramedics and approximately 10 paid-on-call emergency medical technicians. On May 1, 2009, Middleton EMS enhanced its operations by staffing both ambulances full-time at the career paramedic level. This staffing move assured prompt response to all requests for emergency medical services and expanded the availability of advanced life support to all of the citizens in the municipalities that we serve.
