Company Overview
Pacific West Ambulance provides advanced life support 9-1-1 ambulance responses for Lincoln County on the beautiful central Oregon coast. Pacific West Ambulance partners with many different first response agencies, assisting with continuing education, medical supplies, protocol review, and more.
Pacific West Ambulance employs highly-trained, experienced personnel in a variety of positions, including paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians, wheelchair van attendants, billing specialists, maintenance staff, and managers. Units respond from stations in Lincoln City, Depoe Bay, Toledo, Waldport and Newport.
Company History
Metro West was awarded the ambulance service contract for the coastal city of Lincoln City in 1987. In 1992, Depoe Bay was added to our coastal operations and in 1996 Lincoln County Ambulance in Newport was added. In 1997 our coastal operations united under the name Pacific West Ambulance.
Through dedication, excellent service, and quality patient care, Pacific West Ambulance is pleased to continue to serve the citizens of Lincoln county and surrounding areas with the most progressive pre-hospital care, vehicles, and equipment found anywhere in the country. Pacific West is proud of its heritage and the fact that the company is supported by user fees only (no tax dollars) and looks forward with anticipation to continued growth into the future.
