Description

Join Grifols as an EMT, EMTA, Paramedic, or LPN supporting plasma donors in a fast-paced clinical setting. You’ll perform donor screening, vitals, and venipuncture, monitor donor safety, and respond to reactions or emergencies using your clinical skills. Provide direct patient care and monitoring during donation procedures
Perform venipuncture and manage collection equipment safely
Conduct pre-donation screenings, vitals, and medical histories
Recognize and respond to donor reactions and medical emergencies
Administer medications and basic life support as needed
Maintain accurate, timely electronic and paper documentation
Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols
Educate donors on procedures, aftercare, and health considerations
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to improve donor experience
Assist with training of new staff and continuous quality improvement
Venipuncture and phlebotomy
Patient assessment and triage
Basic and advanced life support (BLS/ACLS)
Vital signs monitoring and interpretation
Emergency response and stabilization
Medication administration within scope
Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
Infection control and aseptic technique
Clinical equipment operation and troubleshooting
Regulatory and safety compliance in healthcare
Current state EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, or LPN/LVN license as applicable
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS preferred for Paramedics
IV certification where required by state
Compliance with all state and local scope-of-practice regulations
