Description

Join ABC Healthcare’s Grifols plasma donation center as a part-time EMT or Paramedic. In this role, you’ll perform patient assessments, monitor donors before, during, and after plasma collection, and respond promptly to adverse reactions or emergencies. You’ll obtain vitals, document clinical findings in EMR systems, support phlebotomy staff, and ensure adherence to safety and infection-control protocols. Collaborate with a compassionate, multidisciplinary team focused on quality care, continuous learning, and innovation while helping improve patient outcomes nationwide through safe plasma collection.
Perform initial and ongoing donor medical assessments and obtain vital signs
Monitor donors before, during, and after plasma collection for adverse reactions
Provide immediate emergency response and basic/advanced life support as needed
Document clinical findings and interventions accurately in EMR systems
Support phlebotomy and clinical staff during plasma collection procedures
Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Educate donors on procedures, post-donation care, and safety instructions
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and staff to ensure quality donor care
Inspect and maintain medical equipment and supplies used in donor care
Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives
