Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital seeks an EMT Paramedic to deliver high-quality emergency and pre-hospital care within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will perform rapid patient assessments, initiate ALS/BLS interventions, administer medications, and safely transport patients while collaborating closely with physicians and nurses. Respond rapidly to 911 and in-hospital emergencies, providing high-quality pre-hospital and inter-facility care
Perform comprehensive patient assessment, triage, and initiate ALS/BLS interventions per protocols
Administer medications, manage airways, monitor cardiac rhythms, and operate emergency equipment safely
Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and care teams to ensure smooth patient handoffs
Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in electronic records
Maintain ambulance, equipment, and supplies in a constant state of readiness and cleanliness
Educate patients and families on treatment provided and next steps in care
Follow all hospital, local, and state EMS regulations and safety standards
Advanced life support (ALS) procedures
